The Botany of Leonardo exhibition
As the Year of Leonardo draws to a close, Florence celebrates the Tuscan genius with a spectacular exhibition bridging art, nature and science in the dormitory and great cloister of the Santa Maria Novella complex, where Leonardo sketched preparatory cartoons for The Battle of Anghiari in the early 16th century.
Pratolino Free Tours
Free themed tours throughout September invite visitors to discover the history, art and nature of the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Pratolino Medici Park. The morning tour on September 29 titled “Once Upon a Time, there was an Enchanted ‘Garden of Wonders’, created by Francesco I de’Medici” will be held in English.
