A women's rights march, Chinese videogames and a karaoke night: this week in Florence

It's a murky week as the usually cerulean winter skies have clouded over to make way for melancholy. Luckily, there's plenty going on in the next few days to ensure that we can cast aside the duvet and indulge in the weird and wonderful array of events that Florence has in store for us all. Traditional Chinese art meets videogames at the Fantasy Westward Journey Cultural Heritage Exhibition, currently on at Villa Strozzi, while the Women's Rising March will take to the streets on January 18. Sing the classics at a karaoke night organized by St. Mark's cultural association at the popular Caffè degli Artigiani on January 19, splurge on a wardrobe update for 2020 at Vintage Selection (Fortezza da Basso, January 22-26) and indulge in a pint or two at the Brewer of the Year fair (TuscanyHall, January 17–19).
